Clipping a cat’s nails was an ordeal for everyone..

S, a female cat’s human companion asked me to do a session with her to inquire about her general health and to see if I could help make clipping her nails easier on everyone.  That’s all the information I had so we started. The first session with S was a great reminder to be open to whatever the animal wants to say!

Cats generally are so very interesting to work with – I never know if they will be forthcoming, reticent or somewhere in between.  S’s attitude was completely matter-of-fact – don’t mince words and keep it short and to the point.

The initial session with S was very short and to the point – she immediately said she was getting ready to make her transition and when I raised the issue of nail clipping, all she would say was “don’t bother”.  A body scan showed an extremely weak hind end and blocked energy from her throat, down her chest, and along her tummy to her tail.  It did certainly seem that she was preparing to leave this plane.

The nature of this information was such that I called her human companion to ask her if she had any indication that S was wanting to leave this plane.  She was taken aback and obviously had no forewarning.  She asked me to pursue the nail clipping problem.

My next session with S was a little more forthcoming. Interestingly, this cat did not show me any history on her nail clipping “problem” – but every time I brought it up, she took me to an unforgiveness healing session and we spent the whole time on energy healing.  Her energy was moving a bit better in this session too.

A few weeks after working with S., her human companion shared that for her 13 years, S has had to be sedated to have her nail clipped.  After her vet had refused to clip her nails unless she was sedated, she was sedating her at home and clipping the nails with the help of a friend.    After the healing sessions with S., her nails can now be clipped without being sedated!  Instead of making a production out of nail clipping, her human caretaker is now clipping one nail at a time, using her intuition to know when it is the right time and both S and her human companion are feeling much, much better about the process.

Also since the session with S, a vet has found some major problems with her hind end and S is now being treated for that.  We still don’t know if S if planning on leaving this plane or if she is making a transition to a different level by shedding some of her negative baggage but both cat and human are now spending more quality time together.
